About the Practice

Welcome to my website. I provide neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescence, and young adults with learning and behavioral issues, including, but not limited to, dyslexia and other learning disabilities, language impairments, Aspergers and autism spectrum disorders, and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Neuropsychological testing involves a comprehensive assessment of thinking and behavior that is designed to get a better understanding of a child’s unique pattern of cognitive strengths and weaknesses. Areas assessed may include: intelligence, academic achievement, language, attention, learning and memory, visual perceptual skills, motor abilities, the ability to plan, organize and solve problems (executive functions), and social and emotional functioning. Understanding a child’s cognitive profile is critical to developing effective intervention strategies that utilize his/her strengths to improve or compensate for weaknesses.
